At Essex Tortoise Group, we've had the honour of rescuing many tortoises, each with a remarkable story. From those found neglected to others needing specialised care, our commitment ensures they find a safe haven. These are the stories of recovery and new beginnings, showcasing the incredible resilience of these ancient creatures. This is our oldest rescue we had in he was 104 years old, there were 5 of them, and the gentlemen couldn't cope with them anymore
